Program Locations:

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center
For ages 5 to 18 years

21 10th grade students from the Bronx Health Scienc HS came with the Art teacher to look at the Hirschfeld exhibition.  They had been studying drawing and illustration and came with assignments based on the material in the exhibition.  The session began in the vandamm exhibition, where we used the oversized images of Flying High, Pal Joey, Machinal and Beggar's Holiday to help the students focus on movement, light and proportion within the rectangular frame.
