Talks at the Schomburg: Black Baseball and Black Music in the Era of the Color Line

If It Ain’t Got That Swing: Black Baseball and Music in the Jim Crow Era explores connections between black music and black baseball and takes us into a variety of venues where Black music and Black baseball intersected.  Guest speakers include Negro Leaguer Jim RobinsonDr. Larry Hogan, Union County College and Dr. Robert Cvornyek, Rhode Island College. The program will include live music by the Bill Saxton Trio.
