CHAMELEON: Music of Latin America

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium

The ensemble will perform a variety of music from Latin America, spanning the 20th Century. The music is melodic, rhythmic, and full of energy and life. This music has roots in indigenous South American music with influences from Africa, Europe and North America, combining salon music and urban folk styles.
