The former fellow Farah Jasmine Griffin discusses her new book, Harlem Nocturne: Women Artists and Progressive Politics During World War II, with the writer Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts, author of Harlem is Nowhere. This discussion is part of the “Between the Lines” series, curated by the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and co-presented with the Cullman Center.
