Having trouble looking for a job?  Confused by on-line applications?  Not sure where to begin with your resume? Then Van Nest is the place fore you this fall!  Join us for a four part workshop series concerning multiple aspects of employment and putting your skills on paper.  Learn what a cover letter is and what is is used for, how to format a resume, what you should wear to an interview and a multitude of other skills related to searching to and applying for jobs. 

This program is open to those 16 and over.  You may choose to join us for the entire series, or individual sessions. This is a highly beneficial course regardless if you are looking for something permanent, part-time or seasonal.  Looking to change careers, or earn some extra Christmas cash?  Then start out with the perfect foundation for finding a job here at Van Nest!

Part I - Cover Letter - September 23rd

Part II- Resume - September 30th

Part III- Job Search -October 7th

Part IV- Interview Skills - October 21st

*Please note that this is NOT a computer class.  You MUST have basic computer experience and be at least slightly familiar with MS Word.
