Program for students enrolled in 3-week summer intensive program, Empower Youth Through Performance, run by Statement Arts and the United Palace of Cultural Arts, in the Washington Heights area.  After gallery and facility tour, the program focused on how theater and music students could prepare for HS and college auditions in music and theater, as well as careers in the arts.  We plan to work with the program and its teaching artists for their after school programs during the school year, expanding to include the art students..
