Latin Jazz with Ray Martinez's Legacy

Known for his melodic and percussive style, RAY MARTINEZ has been considered one of the most gifted and prominent bassist/arranger in the contemporary Latin and Salsa music scenes.                                                                                                                                                        Crossing over to mainstream Jazz, Ray Martinez's Legacy created a familiar yet new sound. Born out of the multicultural dynamics of New York, Legacy was created with the idea of connecting musical concepts of both Africa and the African Diaspora. This musical innovation fuses Afro-Jazz, the Blues, Funk, and the folklore rhythms of the Caribbean. The band will feature the following musicians: Ray Martinez-Bass, Adan Perez-Piano, Bobby Baxmeyer-Guitar& Violin, Frank Fontaine-Saxes& Flute, Diego Lopez-Trap Drums Set.
