This week's movie is: A Song To Remember (1945). This film biography follows the short but passionate life of composer Frédéric Chopin.  Cornel Wilde plays the Polish genius as a nationalist driven by the love of his native country.  Paul Muni is the professor that mentors Chopin and Merle Oberon plays the beautiful George Sand, the beautiful muse for many of his romantic compositions. This film takes us from the height of Chopin’s virility to his decaying health due to the pressure of superstardom.
