Program Locations:

St. Agnes Library
For ages 5 to 12 years

NYChessKids fosters the making of young ambitious, motivated, and determined chess players in New York City by challenging and supporting them to reach their maximum potential. 

There goal is to help children develop their chess skills at an early age, set the standard for the limitless possibilities with chess, and assist them in not only becoming the best players, but the best people they can be.

We are dedicated to improving academic excellence by encouraging and training our students to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and admirable leaders.

Learn to play chess and develop your skills with other players in an informal setting.

10am -10:45 Beginners

11am - 11:45 Intermediate

 ******Registration is required******

All materials will be provided.  Recommended for ages 5-12.
