Jobseekers can no longer afford to miss out on LinkedIn, which is becoming essential to landing and acing interviews. In addition, many jobseekers place too much emphasis on ads and recruiting firms to get interviews, while not putting enough time into networking and contacting people directly. In fact, in today's economy most jobs are landed using latter two approaches! In this talk, we will focus primarily on the things you should be doing on LinkedIn right now to get interviews. We will also review how Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other social media should fit into your overall job search. By the end of the seminar you will have learned new strategies and techniques that will generate immediate benefits for your job search.
