Special Needs Storytime is an interactive educational program enjoyable to all children, but specifically designed for children with sensory integration challenges. It includes books, music and movement, songs and rhymes, and therapeutic activities to stimulate the senses and promote learning.

This program is geared to a preschool level for children with autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration issues, other developmental disabilities, and their typically developing peers/siblings. Adults must be present and therapists are welcome.

The storytime is 30 minutes in length after which families are encouraged to linger and socialize. If your child has difficulty sitting through a regular storytime, consider trying this sensory storytime.

Pre-registration is recommended.
