CAW - Creative Arts Workshops for Kids

Share

April 25, 2013

Program Locations:

125th Street Library
For children

Children will learn about 3 dimensional sculpture art by exploring shape and form. They will also explore symbols in art by creating a sculpture that symbolizes personal attributes for each student.

There are 3 parts to this workshop. The first part, children will work on a brainstorming activity to extract a symbol or shape to work with. For the second part of the project, children will create sculptures using a fast drying clay. Children will then paint their sculptures as the final step.
