Other March Story Time Dates - March 6

Désirée’s Baby
Désirée was a foundling, adopted by Monsieur and Madame Valmondé when she was hardly more than a baby. At eighteen, she won the heart of Armand Aubigny, owner of the neighboring plantation. They expected their love to last forever, but the baby’s birth brought long-hidden secrets to light.

The Locket

When they found the locket around the neck of the dead Confederate soldier, they sent it back to the woman who had given it to her sweetheart to keep him safe. The following spring found the lady still in mourning, not expecting to be surprised by love.
