Drawing from Observation - Drawing Class for Older Adults. March 16 - May 18, 2013

Program Locations:

Mulberry Street Library

In this class for older adults (55+ only), students will learn the basics of drawing. The course will be led by Mary Didoardo, a professional teaching artist. Students will work with a  variety of paper textures, pencils, charcoal, and Conté crayons. The final session will be a culminating event where students will showcase their work. Limited to 15 students, attendance at all 9 sessions is required.  No prior drawing or artistic experience is necessary. 

Students will be chosen by lot; sign up for the lottery at the  Information Desk or call (212) 966—3424. The lottery will be held on Friday March 1st and students who are chosen will be notified by phone.
