Gifts from Our Ancesters: Native American Treasures - a lecture/workshop presented by Bard Graduate Center: Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture

Bronx Library Center

Explore the art and material culture of Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest Coast. Learn about talking sticks, cedar-bark basketry, and family crests. Create drawings and stories inspired by baskets and argillite carvings. This two-hour lecture/activity session will be facilitated by an educator from Bard Graduate Center: Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture.
