Money Matters @NYPL: Facts About Reverse Mortgages

The New York Public Library's Money Matters series are made possible thanks to the generous support of The McGraw-Hill Companies' Financial Literacy Now: New York campaign.

Reverse mortgages, or HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) loans, are designed for seniors looking to enhance their financial situations during the retirement years by accessing the equity in their homes. This workshop will teach you what a reverse mortgages are (and what they are not). How they work, and how they may be able to help. Although eligibility begins at age 62, all are welcome to attend.

There will be refreshments and a raffle to win prizes.
