Black History Month Writing Contest

Countee Cullen Library, Teen Space
Teen Space
For ages 13 to 18 years

Teens will write a two-page essay on a well-known African American historical figure. They will explain his/her significance to the history of the United States. Best essay will receive a prize. Winners will be announced on the last Monday of February.
