A performance-discussion that will explore the relatively new world of singing opera in Arabic. A panel, moderated by Nimet Habachy of WQXR/WNYC will look at the adaptability of rendering this primarily European idiom into Arabic.

The program features:
Raouf Zaidan, Baritone
Ashraf Sewailam, Bass Baritone
