Event Details

Do you have trouble seeing what’s on a computer screen? All New York Public Library computers for public use have installed screen magnifying software, called MAGic for you to use while working on computers at the public library. Using this software you can: increase the size of everything on a computer screen, have the text on the screen spoken aloud, and change the size and color of the cursor and mouse to make them easier to find. Come to learn all about MAGic and try it for yourself!
This is an informal, drop-in workshop: come to any of the workshops, at any time during the three hours and stay as long as you would like so you have a chance to learn about, and try for yourself, all the features of the MAGic screen magnifying software.

Additional sessions will take place at the Andrew Heiskell Library, 1-4 p.m., on February 6 and March 6, 2013.

  • Audience: Adults, 50+, Families, Persons with Disabilities
