Curator's Talk: Cover to Cover: 20 Years of African Voices

Curator Danny Simmons will lead a conversation with artists Verna Hart, Francks Deceus, Faith Ringgold and Ademola Olugebefola on their art and the role of the artist in today's society. Join us for an evening of inspiration and reflection.
This event is presented in collaboration with African Voices and related to the exhibition Cover to Cover, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of African Voices magazine. Photo essays and other archival pieces will give viewers a historical perspective on black art and literature featured in African Voices.
