Job Searching & Resume Writing: Mock Interviewing

Date and Time
November 28, 2012
Event Details

Why go into an interview cold? Practice doesn’t guarantee success—but it does guarantee the best possible outcome. In this workshop, we will engage in live role play and learn how to: use appropriate body language, reduce ‘uhhs’ and ‘umms’, turn negatives into positives, ask intelligent questions, and use real-life examples to PROVE that you have what the job requires. All participants will be encouraged to critique each other (and the interviewer!). For best learning results, bring a sample job description and dress for success. Take-home tip sheets, planning calendars, notepads and pens will be provided.
