The Reading Beatrix Potter Program is part of the Society which is holding a symposium in New York City entitled “Yours Sincerely Beatrix Potter: Letters and Librarians” from November 16th – 18th in conjunction with the exhibition “Beatrix Potter: The Pictures Letters” being held at the Pierpont Morgan Library and Museum. Readers, many dressed as Beatrix Potter, will be reading to children bringing visual aids, supplying worksheets and special treats. Crafts will be made and perhaps a special visit by Peter Rabbit!
