Wikipedia Goes To the Movies - newly rescheduled

Program Locations:
New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, Reserve Film and Video Collection

As part of Wikipedia Loves Libraries events happening this fall, The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts will host an edit-a-thon for Wikipedians and researchers in the film and performing arts community. Come and help us improve documentation and access to information about all aspects of movies (as well as performing arts information) on the free online encyclopedia!
Bring your own laptop. Stay for the afternoon or drop in at any time between 12pm and 5 PM. NYPL staff will be on hand to provide information and instruction on using our collections. Volunteer Wikipedians will be present to provide support and instruction on editing Wikipedia.
Wiki editing skills not required
Interest in film and performing arts highly recommended!
