A vivid account of THE BOUNTY which set sail for the South Seas in 1787. The voyage is beset by insurrection brought on by Captain Bligh (Charles Laughton). Fletcher Christian (Clark Gable), long an opponent of the captain, leads the crew into mutiny and eventual asylum in the Fuji Islands.
