April 21, 2012

Program Locations:

Science, Industry and Business Library (SIBL), Conference Room 018

Investment fraud affects thousands of Americans— including those at or near retirement. And with millions of baby boomers entering retirement, we need dedicated efforts to reduce the incidence of investment fraud. For these reasons, the FINRA Investor Education Foundation developed SaveAndInvest.org and the Outsmarting Investment Fraud program—resources for organizations and individuals working to protect citizens from financial fraud. The truth is, we’re all at risk. Anyone with any money is bound to hear from a fraudster at some point. But you can help protect your family and friends by recognizing how investment fraudsters operate and by reporting suspicious sales pitches and actual scams.

Seating is on a first come, first seated basis unless otherwise noted.
