Program Locations:

Spring into Action!

Find out about free and low-cost fitness opportunities, especially those geared to midlife and older active adults,  in your neighborhood and throughout the city.

Meet representatives from and/or get Information about:

Outdoors Club--walking and hiking

Bronx River Alliance--walking, biking, rowing, or just sitting and contemplating the Bronx River

Rocking the Boat--community rowing program

NYC Dept. of Parks and Recreation--lots of ways to have fun and get fit, indoors and outdoors

NYC Urban Park Rangers--their mission: to "link New Yorkers to the natural world"

The NYC Dept. for the Aging will offer a demonstration workshop of Stay Well exercises, and will distribute their 43-page spiral-bound book, Stay Well: Fitness for Seniors to those wishing to begin a home exercise program. 

Free passes to Wave Hill, free Water Trail Maps from Going Coastal, and a free raffle. Join us!
