Freedom of Information Day

                                                                                                                                                               Freedom of Information Day will be observed at the Science, Industry and Business Library (SIBL)  with a lecture by guest speaker Robert Weissman, President of Public Citizen, a nonprofit organization which advocates for citizens’ interests before Congress, the executive branch agencies and the courts.  He will discuss the value of public access to information to enable citizens to make truly informed decisions about how government should work for them, with a focus on the activities of Public Citizen and similar organizations involved this area.

Seating is on a first come, first seated basis unless otherwise noted.
