Students and teachers (K-12) are invited to celebrate black history and culture during this week-long film series that captures diverse stories of the African-American Experience. All screenings are followed by a facilitated discussion. 

On The Shoulders of Giants: The Story of the Greatest Basketball Team You Never Heard Of by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (2011) 75 mins. Learn about the Harlem Renaissance through the eyes of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as he presents the life and times of the Harlem Rens Basketball team that changed the sport of basketball and challenged race boundaries in America.
