Researching Family History @ the Schomburg

Carla L. Peterson, Professor of English at the University of Maryland at College Park, will conduct a workshop about researching family history using Schomburg Center collections. She will share the story of her own journey and process inside the Schomburg archives while writing her book Black Gotham: A Family History of African Americans in Nineteenth-Century New York City.
