Performing Arts: Incredibly Musical and Significantly Deaf: More Music with Less Hearing

Share

October 30, 2010

Program Locations:

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium

Celebrating the fact that the loss of hearing does not mean the loss of music, the Association of Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss presents some of its professional musician members in a concert of classical and contemporary works, including pieces by Brahms, Ponce, Scarlatti, Solis, and selections from Jay Zimmerman's Incredibly Deaf Musical.

Real-time (CART) captioning will be provided for this event, and FM assistive listening devices, including headphones and neckloops, will be available for those with hearing loss.
