Celebrate the Center’s 85th anniversary and 25 years of exceptional leadership by its Director, Howard Dodson. Join Christopher Moore, Co-Curator and Research Coordinator, Schomburg Exhibitions & Special Programs, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of this not to be missed exhibition. Drawing on the Schomburg’s rich collection, it showcases items featured in the Center’s highly acclaimed “Lest We Forget: The Triumph Over Slavery” and “The Art of African Women” shows, as well as unique material from The Malcolm X Collection, The Helen Armstead Johnson Collection, and The Lorraine Hansberry Collection.
