April 2010 marks the 100th Anniversary of Mark Twain’s death. It’s a year for celebrating the life and work of this beloved American writer, and to help do so we will spend the afternoon with another beloved American author and humorist. Roy Blount, Jr. has edited Mark Twain: A Tramp Abroad, Following the Equator, Other Travels, the seventh and final volume in The Library of America’s acclaimed Mark Twain edition.  Blount is the author of twenty-one books, most recently Alphabet Juice. He is also a contributing editor at The Atlantic and a regular panelist on NPR's Wait, Wait . . . Don't Tell Me. Join us as Mr. Blount offers his own unique insights on this literary icon.
