Join The Ottendorfer Library in celebrating the centennial of the birth of Django Reinhardt with a screening of the film Sweet and Lowdown.

In the 1930's, Emmet Ray ruled as the second greatest jazz guitarist in the world, but his reputation was eclipsed by his eccentric career moves, hilarious clashes with gangsters, and stormy love affairs with two very different women.

Starring Sean Penn, Samantha Morton, Uma Thurman, and Anthony LaPaglia. Written and directed by Woody Allen. 1999, 95 minutes.
