Share

November 7, 2002

Program Locations:

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium
In March 1997, the Performing Arts Library inaugurated a series of public programs to celebrate the donation to the Library of the Lillian Gish Papers. The Library invited Irene Worth, a close friend of Miss Gish's, to create the first program in the series. The program was taped before a live audience and is being screened as a tribute to Miss Worth. Also appearing on the tape is Mrs. Vincent Astor, who introduced Irene Worth.
