How to Order Individual Titles from MyLibraryNYC

Share

It’s as easy as 1-2-3! Just follow these simple steps:

1. Log In at the nypl.org homepage in the upper right using your MyLibraryNYC library card number (barcode).

log into nypl.org

Don't know your card number and/or PIN? Call 917-ASK-NYPL (917-275-6975). You will need an official New York City Department of Education e-mail address and you must be a teacher at a participating MyLibraryNYC school in New York City to receive a MyLibraryNYC library card and PIN.

2.  Browse for individual titles. There are millions to choose from!

3. Click "Place a Hold" when you find the title you want.

You should then see your school as the pick-up location. Then, click "Confirm."

That's it! Your selection has been ordered. Do you have any questions or do you still need help? Call 917-ASK-NYPL (917-275-6975).

Individual titles may take several weeks for delivery to your school, especially if all copies are checked out or have already been placed on hold by another teacher. So please plan ahead as inventory is limited. Individual titles are usually delivered in envelopes via UPS along with a pre-paid UPS return label.
