Check out William Kozar's Paint FetishPaint Fetishnew works - extreme painting at it's best!

'Concept = process = painting" according to Kozar. Epoxy is a liquid that hardens by chemical reaction, it never loses volume, unlike traditional paints such as oil and watercolor. Spinel is the closest substance to true black we have. Kozar remarks "I find this poetic, sad (and subversive) because black is so "black heart" "Satanic"...

in ' Spinel 50g" epoxy is violently applied to a black gesso ground to vandalize a pristine black rectangle. The result is deadpan abstraction, a harsh minimalism.
