March 25, 2012 marks the long awaited return of
Mad Men. In celebration and through the end of February, the 5th Avenue window display cases of the Mid-Manhattan Library will be done up in
Mad Men style, featuring images from
the Picture Collection.
The Picture Collection has well over one million circulating images filed under 12,000 different subject headings, so if you're looking for 1950s and 1960s fashion, advertising, design, or anything else, we've got you covered!
Write your favorite Mad Men quote or advertising slogan on a bar napkin or the back of an envelope and drop it off Monday through Saturday at the 3rd floor Picture Collection information desk. The best ones will be added to the display!
