Peace Pentagon Design Competition

Share

March 15 through April 30, 2010

Program Locations:

Mulberry Street Library

Mulberry Street Library hosts an exhibition of models and designs for a reimagined "Peace Pentagon." The current building at 339 Lafayette Street was nicknamed the Peace Pentagon because of its long history as a site housing groups dedicated to promoting world peace, such as the War Resisters League and the A.J. Muste Memorial Institute, which is dedicated to the nonviolence movement. The organization Friends of 339 is sponsoring the design competition.
