MAPnificent: Artists Use Maps

Mulberry Street Library

MAPnificent features paintings, works on paper and sculpture that reflect the artists’ concerns for the current state of our society, conveyed though charts and diagrams, and their admiration of the map as a symbol of longing and the unknown. Includes works by Elaine Angelopoulos, Joseph Burwell, Dahlia Elsayed, Paul Fabozzi, Peter J. Hoffmeister, Alastair Nobel, Amy Pryor. 

Opening Event - Monday July 2nd @ 5pm- 6:45pm The opening will include the performance “Knitting...I Need You,” by Marie Christine Katz, at 5:30pm.
