GUY BECKLES : "GUYNETICS" Moving Art Exhibition
April 29 through May 9, 2014
Guy Beckles is a unique artist who has over the years, inspired by the art in movement, developed a way to hone all of his skills and talent into creating works of moving art. His pieces are playful yet reflective, whimsical yet able to inspire moments of intesity of thought. Iff we were to consider that even when we are still our bodies are in constant motin; with every drop of blood that flows through oru veins and with every breath we take, we may come to the conclusion that movement is as natural as following our basic human instinct for self perservation. To move is to live and to survive.
"Guynetic" is the thoughtful tiltle given to the presentation which is about to unfold befor your eyes. After the experience of a Guy Beckles exhititon som years ago, an anonymous art connoisseur made the poignant coment "if "GUYNETIC" were to be added to the English dictionary, its definition should be the following:
guynetic. ("guy-net-tick"); adj.n.; dynamic, moving, beautiful, interesting, enthralling a peculiar blend of engineering and aesthetic appeal distinctive of the originator of that style.
