Forever Young: Photographs by Coe Arthur Younger
Children are very natural in front of the camera. They show their feelings and personalities; their eyes express what's in their souls. They don't need to pose.
This series of photographs, taken from 1967 to the present, focuses on children in their surroundings and environments. Through their personalities, attitudes, and behaviors, the photographer captures their social and cultural realities. The subjects' day to day realities, customs, and life stories are compellilngly reflected in the images, and the richness of these images transports the viewer directly into their world.
