Celebrating Anna Sokolow
April 22 through July 24, 2010
Program Locations:
New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center, Katharine Cornell-Guthrie McClintic Special Collections Reading Room
2010 is the 100th aniversary of the birth of the great American choreographer Anna Sokolow. The reading room of the Jerome Robbins Dance Division, on the third floor of the Library for the Performing Arts, displays an installation inspired by Sokolow's major works by Robin Meems, with assistance by Melissa Birnbaum.
