A pioneering producer of performing arts in museums, Works & Process at the Guggenheim has championed new works, offered audiences unprecedented access to generations of leading creators and performers, and provided them with the chance to share their creative process. At each Works & Process program, New Yorkers can see, hear, and meet the most acclaimed artists in the world in an intimate setting unlike any other, the Guggenheim’s Frank Lloyd Wright–designed 285-seat Peter B. Lewis Theater.

Celebrating 30 years of Works & Process, this exhibition highlights the ongoing partnership between Works & Process and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, showcasing the Works & Process video archives, housed in the library's Jerome Robbins Dance Division. This exhibition features photographs, printed ephemera, and costumes from past performances, which reference the rich archival videos spanning 30 years and documenting 481 Works & Process performances, easily accessed and viewed here at the library.

Described by the New York Times as “an exceptional opportunity to understand something of the creative process,” Works & Process is produced by founder Mary Sharp Cronson.
