10:30 a.m.Toddler time at the Spuyten Duyvil Branch Library on Thursdays
Toddler Time is a program for 18 month to 39 month olds in the company of a parent and or caregiver. The program will be held twice in July , 2015 at 10:30 a.m. on a Thursday morning . The program is 30 minutes long and consists of books, music, dance , rhymes, shakers and bubble time. The maximum attendance is a combination of " 50 " adults and children . The program will resume again after Labor Day 2015 !!!!

Children will be wowed and amazed at the sleight of hand tricks and the comedic talents of Children's Magician Evan Paquette. Evan holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Theater and uses magic to both entertain and promote learning. As a special treat, after the 40 minute interactive magic show, Evan leads a short hands-on workshop for the kids to test their own magical abilities. Recommended for children ages 4 to 8 years old. Presented by Urban Stages.

3:30 p.m.Summer Reading 2015 Arts and crafts program for ages 4 to 10
A summer arts and crafts program that will last 45 minutes and will include doing Super- Hero jigsaw puzzles, coloring pages and and other super - hero items such as word searches , etc. The program will begin at 3:30 pm and last until 4:20 pm. or so. Pre- Registration is required to attend the program and the maximum attendance will be "20 " kids.

Baby Lap-Sit Time is a 20 -25 minute program for infants to 17 month olds in the company of a parent or caregiver. The program includes books. music, action rhymes, exercise rhymes and circle time. The program is suspended for the month of August and will begin again after the Labor Day holiday -2015.

3:30 p.m.The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge
The story transports audiences back to the 1870’s- 80’s where they share the excitement and challenges of building the Brooklyn Bridge. Using shadow puppetry and circus, the story is told by one of the important people involved in this project, the bridge builder’s wife. It is truly a hero’s adventure, and a wonder that the bridge could even be completed. Presented by Laine Barton.
