1 p.m.STAY WELL EXERCISE PROGRAM FOR SENIORS
Join us for a fun exercise class for all ability levels! Senior volunteers trained by staff from the Health Promotion Services unit of NYC's Department for the Aging will lead participants in a well-balanced series of exercises for all ability levels. No special clothing or equipment is necessary. Those participating in the exercises must sign an activity release form.

2:30 p.m.WRITING WORKSHOP WITH ELLEN AUG LYTLE
Anyone interested in any type of writing is invited to participate. Each student is required to bring only a pen and a pad. We do "free writing" exercises in class. These warm-ips help to loosen all the debris we accumulate, sometimes for decades. Imagination is also coaxed and brought out. This event was funded in parts by Poets & Writers, Inc. with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.

This workshop combines art making and collected words to create a mandala mobile. Mandalas are ancient symbols of unity and peace. Mandalas are found all around us in art, architecture & nature.
