2:30 p.m.Stop Motion Productions: Four Workshops, Four Films
This is a FREE hands-on, tech-based workshop series for teens. You'll get to use an iPad and clay, pipe cleaners, and other craft materials to create a stop-motion video like you might have seen in Coraline or The Boxtrolls, and along the way you'll learn about how emotion can be depicted, how professionals use armatures, and the elements of a story. Ages 12-18. Space is limited, so please register in advance at the library

Tai chi is a system of exercises practiced at a steady meditative pace. Gentle movements coordinated with deep breathing invigorate and heal the body, clear the mind and create inner peace and harmony. Tai chi fosters the ability to face the world with openness and fearlessness and find the sacred dimension of everyday life. Dino Blanche, who has been a teacher of tai chi, jujitsu and self-defense for over 40 years, will facilitate this workshop.

A Summer Reading Kick-Off Celebration. The fantastic antics of Bubbles the Clown will keep you smiling.
