This workshop is designed to assist the job seeker to create a brand new resume for the first time or for those who wish to update their resumes. Learn what the differenceis between functional and chronological resumes, what power verbs to use and how to format. It is highly recommednded to bring a flash drive to save your work when you're done in your creation. Cover letters will also be worked on. In addition, the library will offer you an opportunity to use our computers for job searching.

Come to the library, ask questions about how to use the Internet and sharpen your computer skills through computer use. "How do I turn the computer on?" "How do I set up my own e-mail account and e-mail family and friends?" "How can I copy and paste text and pictures?" "How can I sign in to use a computer at the library with my library card?" 11 a.m.Jumping Shaking Musical Story Making: Fun with The Old Woman & the Pumpkin
Children will sing old songs & learn new songs, shake rhythm instruments and jump, hop, leap & freeze as Miss Navida plays the piano. We end with everyone creating the characters and telling the story of The Old Woman & the Pumpkin – a story from India. For children ages 3 and older. Limit to 25 participants, please register by phone or in-person.
