10 a.m.Resume, Cover Letter and Job Search Workshop
This workshop is designed to assist the job seeker to create a brand new resume for the first time or for those who wish to update their resumes. Learn what the differenceis between functional and chronological resumes, what power verbs to use and how to format. It is highly recommednded to bring a flash drive to save your work when you're done in your creation. Cover letters will also be worked on. In addition, the library will offer you an opportunity to use our computers for job searching.

A Summer Reading Celebration. Children will be wowed and amazed at the sleight of hand tricks and the comedic talents of Children's Magician Evan Paquette. Evan holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Theater and uses magic to both entertain and promote learning. As a special treat, after the 40 minute interactive magic show, Evan leads a short hands-on workshop for the kids to test their own magical abilities. Recommended for children ages 4 to 8 years old.
