Join us for a free Stay Well exercise session. Stay Well volunteers certified by the NYC's Department for the aging will lead participants in a well-balanced series of exercises for seniors of all ability levels. Please wear loose comfortable clothing. Exercise equipment will be provided. All participants are required to sign a personal medical waiver at the beginning of the class. Creative writing workshop being held at the Bloomingdale Library in partnership with the New York Writer's Coalition (NYWC). Attendees will discover the value of their own stories. This is a great opportunity for teen library members to get to meet and support their fellow writers. All materials will be provided. For ages 12-18.

The North Shore Animal League brings in a shelter animal to show the wonders of empathy. Working together to create an adoption poster, teens unmask the hero in themselves by helping an animal to find a forever home – they give voice to the voiceless. We will give a brief on Animal League America, which is the world’s largest no-kill adoption shelter, and the origin of the word Mutt-i-gree. Recommended for ages 12 to 18 years old.
