A free, hands-on workshop series for kids 6-10 to travel the globe using stories & song! Each week children will make a musical instrument from a different part of the world, then listen to a great story while playing along with their brand new instrument. In this beginners knitting class you will learn how to cast-on, knit, purl and bind off. No experience necessary. Knitters with some experience are also welcome. Participants should bring the following supplies to the workshop: Size 7 or 8 knitting needles Worsted weight yarn or # 4 Red Heart Super Saver. Yarn should be smooth and light in color.
